South African schools face a crippling energy paradox: classrooms go dark during load shedding at precisely the moments learners need to study. Computer labs, libraries, and administrative systems all shut down without warning.
Eskom's Schools Electrification Programme required a solar partner capable of delivering reliable, institution-grade rooftop solar and inverter systems across multiple campuses—each with different roof configurations, load profiles, and infrastructure constraints.

In4Solar deployed rooftop solar PV arrays paired with grid-interactive inverter systems across multiple school campuses. Each system was custom-engineered to match the building's structural capacity, roof orientation, and electrical infrastructure.
High-efficiency monocrystalline panels were mounted on structural rooftop racking, feeding power through industrial-grade string inverters into the schools' distribution boards. A dedicated bypass and monitoring layer ensures the lights stay on—even during Stage 6 load shedding.
